If people feel as strongly as a poster on here does, maybe they should just not do it. In another ten years, things might be different. India playing Pakistan in ODIs in SL has no real benefit for the game, or either country.
Maybe there is something within the labyrinthine circuits of 'cricket diplomacy' that might be furthered between the nations? Aside from those involved feeling they are doing important work, I don't see what the gains are.

It was an absolute failure! Yorkshire made a six figure financial loss in hosting the Pak-Aus test match and it sent the club backwards for 4 years.
