Having a look at the scorecard for the Eng/SL Lords test just now, when I see that Cricinfo has a list of all time best bowlers at Lords. Not surprising that the short list (top 11) are all England bowlers, so I went to the full list to see who were the best foreigners.
Paddles Hadlee was rated the highest, with 26 wickets from four tests. Next on the list was Pigeon McGrath, also with 26 - from 1 less test (3, to 4), about half the runs, economy just better, but both strike rate and average were almost twice as good as Hadlee's. In no column did Hadlee outscore McGrath, with the exception of playing one extra test at Lords.
Why do you reckon he is ranked higher?
