Apparently he has some sort of brain injury, after being hit by an Indian bouncer. Maybe he shouldn't be allowed to play on those grounds.

It baffles me why they would consider him. Zimbabwe's test side is still poor but surely not poor enough that they need to include a 35 year old who hasn't played test cricket for years and has been advised medically that another blow to the head can kill him. Especially facing a bowler like Dale Steyn.

I wonder how the SA bowlers would feel bowling at him. They'd be frightened to bowl it short just in case one ball does kill him.

Saeed Ajmal has been reported for a suspect bowling action - again - following Pakistan's test loss to Sri Lanka. However, he is free to play in the next test - and, I think, the ODI's as well, as I think that he has 3 weeks to get "tested".

Will Stuart Broad be a keen observer at the testing faciltiy?
