4/18 from Craig Young has helped Ireland bowl Netherlands out for 157 in Utrecht which led to a fairly simple run chase and a levelling of the series at 1-1.

Germany continued to stake their claim as the best second tier associate nation with a dominant T20 series against France and Norway. They were undefeated in all of their games bar this morning's match v Norway where they fielded a weaker team after already making this afternoon's final.

Harmanjot Singh was their best batsman with scores of 10, 68, 15, 49, 10 whilst Sajid Liaqat's 9 wickets saw him finish as highest wicket taker.

Namibia had the top 3 run scorers with Zane Green topping the charts courtesy of scores of 81 and 44. Namibia also had the top 5 highest wicket takers; Gerhard Eramus' 3-8 was the stand out figures.

Zane Green is paying off the heavy investment that Namiboa are putting in some of their youth players. He got 96 today his highest score in this tour. Namibia Eagles heavily beat Zimbabwe after posting 367 in the first innings.

In an indictment of the opposite directions in which the two countries are heading, Titans (a South African domestic team that boasted two internationals in their line up) were skittle out for just 43 in a warm up game against the Namibian Eagles.

They are an awful lot of caveats that surround that but it was a fairly full strength Titans side against a Namibia Eagles side that was missing some of their more experienced stars. Pikky Ya France grabbed key wickets regularly and ended with the stunning figures of 4-9.

Nepal are having something of a shocker in the World Cup qualification league.

They lost to the USA today after having also gone down to Oman yesterday.

Nepal, who are losing their head coach Dav Whitmore at the end of this round of games, are seem as the next associate cab off the tank but will need to turn things round prontisimo as they only have winless Papua New Guinea below them on the table

Scotland only resumed their campaign in this leg of what is already a ludicrously hard to follow qualification process that was further complicated by Covid.

Matt Cross got 70 and contributed to 4 catches behind the stumps to give Scotland their 4th win and pull them further away from Nepal. Oman and the USA are both top but have played 6 and 8 more games than Scotlan respectively.

UAE shocked Ireland today to take their three T20I series to a decider on Sunday.

UAE got a decent 163 in their 20 before Palaniapan Meiyappan's 4-0-25-4 rolled Ireland out for 109.

The final match is on Sunday.

Elsewhere Scotland got the better of the UAE despite Assad Vaala scoring his 5th consecutive score of 25+ in a row as Papua New Guinea got 154 runs. Scotland's more combined efforts saw them polish off the total within 17 overs.

Terrible game for Ireland.

Scotland are going into the World Cup as one of the better placed Associate nations; however their 7 game unbeaten run was snapped by Namibia today despite a half century from inform captain Richie Berrington.

His 61 pulled Scotland up to a passable total of 137-8 with very little support. Namibia chased it down in 17 overs.

Hashmatullah Shahidi, the latest man to have a go at being Afghanistan captain, was the man of the match in the first ODI against the Dutch.

After putting on 222, the Netherlands only got to 186 with 2 overs left in the game.
