Yorkshires 1st innings against Durham was interesting

http://www.espncricinfo.com/county-cric ... 92091.html

At one point, Yorkshires leading runscorer was Graham Onions with those no balls :lmao

He's already been in the Test team or do you mean him having a permanent place?

The first man to score a test run, the first man to score a test century, and the first man to carry his bat (same man, same test, same innings) - Charlie Bannerman, playing for Aus in the first ever test - long held the record for highest percentage of a team's total score. His 165 represented 67.35% out of Aus' 245.

I had the idea that Michael Slater might have broken that against England.

Nope, just found the test in question (http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63818.html) His 123 out of 184 was slightly a lower percentage - however, only one other player made double figures - 24 - making the scorecard very lopsided.

I meant proper knocking on the door and in squads regularly, it was pretty clear at the time he was only in for that India tour unless he did something miraculous.

I think Slater was run out by a yard in that innings, but there were no tv umpires and it wasn't given.

I remember against Waqar and Wasim, England scorecards would look a bit like the Aussie one yesterday; the openers would make some runs, probably Atherton and Stewart, and then once the ball reversed, nothing.
I always say that everybody's right.
