India making a decent fist of their run chase. Australia need a couple of fairly quick wickets

RR is pretty manageable right now for India, but do they have enough wickets left to close this down?

I have Aussies 75-25.

Brown has won this now. 5 dots and another wicket.

I say that, but India coming back this over.... 20 required from 2 ....

They went close, and gave Aus a scare, that would have to be a good thing for Australia

Another Aus/Eng final coming up, or a local upset..?

Just didnt have the hitting down the order...once the 5th wicket went down, you sort of knew it was Australia going to win.

Darcie Brown seems to be the difference. 2-18 in a pretty high scoring match is POM worthy imo. Until she lifted the wicket of Ghosh, I had India as very slight favourites.

Appears to have been a good game

I've just seen the Harmanpreet run out. Bat stuck in the turf as she was sliding it in. Had it not jammed, Healy wouldn't have got close to running her out

India were not that far away from winning that match, so might have made all the difference

a few things went the wrong way for India. There was the Kaur run out. Rodrigues got caught behind playing a ball that bounced way over her head and would surely have been called wide if she'd left it. Verma dropped a very straightforward catch off Mooney on the boundary, that then dribbled for 4 runs. There was brilliant bit of fielding from Perry to save a certain four. India only lost by 5 runs

Yes, Jemimah was so upset with herself for chasing that bouncer from Brown. It would have certainly been a wide if left alone.

There were two of those dive-over-the-boundary-at-full-tilt-slapping-the-ball-back-into-play saves from Perry, exactly the same. That was 4 runs saved, right there.

Healy dropped either Kaur or Ghosh, just after taking Rodriguez, in a very similar style chance. Then another caught behind missed chance the very next over. I was worried that she had given India the chance it needed to get up.

It was a a decent go at the chase by India. They almost pulled it off.

unlike England, who look as though they've completely stuffed up their semi final

Went off like a train to put themselves in a really good position to chase 165, then got themselves completely becalmed, before throwing all their wickets away one after the other trying to pick up the chase and get it back near the asking rate. Without seeing any of it, it feels shambolic

maybe they're a team that can only set targets?

So from losing their first two matches, SA get the chance to be the Washington Generals to Australia's Harlem Globetrotters

feels like a massive blow to England

Big choke from England really not helped by Katherine brunts awful behaviour in the field!! Congrats to SA although it's hard to see it not being a one sided final...

Yep, looks like England bottled it. This team has had a habit of that in the big games.

Sadly looks as though it was one tournament too far for Kat SB. England need to move on from her.
