Kate Cross' second ODI fivefer pulled England out the fire once before the batsmen nearly faltered in the chase of 221. They eventually got there with two overs to spare but it was a sterner interrogation than the first game

Lot of women's cricket yesterday.

Anisa Mohammed got 4-27 to help West Indies beat Pakistan with 19 overs remaining.

West Indies take a 2-0 lead in the series.

The rain curtailed England v India match had it all - great power hitting and some great fielding. Shika Pandey's 3-22 challeneged England but they were in full control when the rain came.

Allrounder Hayley Matthews' second ODI hundred clinched the series win for West Indies, who took a 3-0 lead in the five-match series against Pakistan

Pakistan get their first win of their tour of West Indies!

Kyshona Knight's 88 goes in vain with Pakistan combining batting and bowling for the first time.in the tour

Babette De Leede was the star player in a game that was very nearly ruined by the rain on a number of occasions.

Her 35 ball 65 took the Netherlands to the DLS-ed score of 119 in 13 overs.

Sammy-Jo Johnson has been really impressing me in The Hundred. 9 wickets in four matches and no slouch with the bat.

Ditto with Hayley Matthews.....but that's just a given.

Thailand are currently touring Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe defeated Thailand in the first ODI despite a valiant 67* from Naruemol Chaiwai as the Thais got to 199. However they tied themselves up into knots with their bowling effort and ended up falling with five overs to spare.

Thailand managed to reverse the result today in a game that was more for the bowlers than it was the batters. Fivefers were scored by two bowlers with Josephine Nkomo's being the most economical; however it was in vain as Zimbabwe only got to 207 in a chase of 229.  There are two more ODIS to play.

well that's the thing, isn't it.......... that would be true in T20 too, we don't need a different game to do that

The only reason that I can see for having a different product is that the ECB hope to do a better job of marketing it, patenting it and screwing money out of it than they did with the T20. This time they hope to stop the BCCI from hoovering up all the money by producing a better marketed product. I'm not sure they have the brains or the legal and financial acumen to do that though. This is the ECB after all..... more hopeless than Hopeless Hancock after he moved to Hopelesston in Hopeless County

Naruemol Chaiwai played an absolute blinder in a losing effort again today. She scored 100 of Thailand's 187 runs but Zimbabwe managed to chase them down. It could have been a lot worse for Thailand as they were 15-5 after 8 overs.

Today it was the turn of a Zimbabwean to top score but end on the losing side.

Precious Marange got 66 in Zimbabwe's effort of 212. Thailand chased that down in 46 overs which levels the series 2-2. Quite an unsatisfactory outcome for what has been a cracking series.
