He had a central part in the first episode of Chernobyl recently, a bit of drama TV that ranks alongside anything I can think of watching in the past. For that alone he will be a memorable actor for me.
RIP

Prince Philip has died
he didn't look like a man who was going to make it to his 100th birthday, in truth

peacefully is all I know
His spell in hospital was for cardiac problems, so maybe he left in order to die at home?

At least it will be fun watching the funeral after Harry just sh8t on his own doorstep, and now has to inevitably return.

maybe 99 years of life isn't long enough for the royals to decide which home to die in

None whatsoever, presumably. No state funeral. Whether that's a personal request or just protocol I couldn't tell you
I wonder if they'll be allowed more than 15 at the funeral
might be 30 by Monday.... not sure

Reading about her. Article says in the 1983 election, proto Lib-dems (SDP and Liberal alliance) got 25% of the vote and 23 MPs. Crazy.

That's why the forgotten referendum was such a catastrophic loss thanks to Toxic Nick..... scrap tuition fees.... look, this is us signing the pledge.... we'll even use red pen so it looks like we've signed it in blood.....or.... treble them... .. same thing......as long as we get to share power for a bit...... now, how about a bit of electoral reform? You can trust me
No chance that either L or the T's will allow that to be changed unless dragged kicking and screaming to it

Would be good for Labour as they have natural alliances. I think Labour will adopt PR, it's the only way to stop continual Tory governments with a majority conjured from a minority of the votes.

I don't. Blair gave them 3 terms in power by cobbling a majority from 42, 43, 44 percent of the vote. They would only go for it if they believed they were never going to win again without it..... and that's back in Lib Dem pre-2010 territory
