le Carre, I knew about. While it wasn't really my genre, he seemed to be held in extremely high regard by his peers, which always says a lot
Houllier caught me by surprise. Always seemed like a nice man to me. He showed you didn't need to be a tw@t to be successful in football. I couldn't give a stuff about Liverpool, but that win in Istanbul even had me dancing around the room. Agreed.... it didn't even occur to me that he could be 73
