The millionth ball bowled in Tests in England was delivered in the last Test match.

I nicked this off the Guardian. But, arrogant as this sounds, I reckon they've had a couple of my ideas over the years, so I don't mind.

Being a series I've been thinking about recently, I've got Simon Jones' inswinger that bowled Michael Clarke playing no shot, at Old Trafford in 2005, high up in mine.

Not one but a few of Waqar's inswinging yorkers come to mind. Him at his best was as exciting as it came.

Another thread that identifies how boring this site is at present. I'm considering a thread inviting posters to brag about how many of those million deliveries they claim to have seen.

Warne to Gatting sticks in the mind. Not an enjoyable delivery from a home point of view but a great delivery nonetheless.

Harmison's slower ball to Clarke in 2005 was a good 'un.

Bob Willis' final delivery at Headingley 81.

The best balls are the ones that send the middle stump cartwheeling.

Too many of those to mention.

Hope's just bowled a bouncer to Arthur, who fends it off to third man!

Or a stunning catch, maybe Flintoff to Gilchrist, caught Strauss at TB.

Flintoff to Ponting at Edgbaston is memorable, even though it was just an edge and a routine take.
