Six years is a good run. Quite a draining job, I think.

He had a lot of say in team selections. Got players he wanted in playing 11. Was captain for India in all 3 formats for long enough. However, could not win T20i cup, ODI WC nor the Test finals against NZ.

He messed with careers of young cricketers even though they out performed seniors. Played them in wrong formats and and made selection blunders.

Personally glad that he is no more captain in any of the 3 formats. Hopefully new captain will win us major trophy in one of the format atheist if given same power in selection, in deciding coach, and as much a long runs as Virat got.

Good for RCB, that he has given RCB captaincy as well. I SPITE of having been RCB captain for many years he could not even win one IPL trophy. Infact RCB has been one of the worst performing team.
