Knee jerk team has nearly picked itself. Just need another ton and a 5fer and we're sorted.

Jacky Brooks as the 3rd seam choice, the man is on form.

If Prior is unfit, and Buttler and Bairstow not yet ready, the next keeper is going to be hard to predict. Will the division one keepers be looked at more closely, as they tend to be preferred in selection of players generally? That excludes Davies and Foster. How about Ambrose or Read as a short term option?

Maybe a keeper/captain would be advantageous given Cook's onfield struggles? There are a few of those about.

Must be Kieswetter, I put him ahead of Buttler anyway as Somerset obviously did.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

I keep forgetting about him. Yes I guess he'd be favourite. Moores coming back might alter expectation though. There isn't anyone readied to take the job, so if Moores has a strong opinion on someone, that might be good enough.

With the amount of knee jerking going on in the Sky Sports commentary box, half the Yorkshire squad will be playing in the opening Sri Lanka test match.
