His boxing career, his comeback to the sport, his commercial ventures - all well and good, but it needs to be remembered that he has five sons named George, plus one daughter named Georgetta.

Are the ones not named George (he had 12 children, I think) relieved or jealous?
Maybe

Sven died at 76.

There's Cat Stevens, Billy Crystal, Robert Plant, Jean-Michel Jarre, Jeremy Irons, Judy Geeson, Lulu, Michele Dotrice, Ozzy Osbourne, Samuel L. Jackson, Noel Edmonds currently in the zone.

Shakin' Stevens made it to 77 earlier this month.

I would not have thought Shakin' was the older of the two Stevens brothers.

Housewives hearthrob on upmarket soaps. But I enjoyed his TV film adventures, The Man in the Iron Mask and the Count of Monte Cristo, made after he did Three Musketeers on the big screen. RIP.

In the tv series...

... in the film, Sally Kellerman.

Only film I remember seeing LT in is Race With the Devil, an action-horror with Peter Fonda.

No posts for a while. Hopefully a good sign.

Frederick Forsyth, aged 86. Not read any of his books, but familiar with some film adaptation, particularly the decent The Day of the Jackal (1973). Also The Dogs of War (poor), The Odessa File (ok) and The Fourth Protocol (ok).
