Well I am more or less glad ...would prefer his last match is a bit more interesting than this rather turgid affair...don't think it will be too long anyway.
Perhaps the Australian series will be his swansong. Though I am not sure India will fare much better in that either...perhaps the Australian spinners will be less dangerous than Swann and Panesar. Wonder what the pitches will be like ?

Tendulkar will continue for a while yet but he needs to get some of his form back.

Nothing worse than seeing someone go on longer than they should but Sachin is still worshipped in India so while he plays the crowds will come to see him.

Probably the greatest ODI player of all time.

More tests to come then.

Seems to imply that he will be going on in Tests for a while, otherwise, why not just retire?

A good move, with India building to the next world cup with some promising batters.

A pretty incredible career, looking at the weight of runs.

Would he open in an all time world ODI XI?

His runs, catches, wickets and fitness has said a lot of things. My role model since club cricket and even today as well while i pursue club cricket. There are still so many things to learn from watching his innings. He is a teacher for the practitioners of this wonderful game of cricket . Sir Sachin Tendulkar in real terms :salute  .

I think Ajinkya will be Sachin's replacement in ODI.
