Tom Bruce has to be the worst player Sussex have ever fielded in my lifetime.

I think he literally did not pass 20 runs in an innings during a whole blast season for us..... what an incredible overseas addition.

Did him a disservice. He scored 21 apparently in one innings. But then only 40 runs in his next 9 matches..... at under a run a ball.

Got to be one of the worst overseas additions in county history that. Sub 10 average.

Indeed, I bet the IPL teams are lining up for that 3 overs he is going to bring.

1 will be tremendous pace, and the other 2 will be half run up medium paced cutter bowling, but think of those glorious 6 balls he is going to spray around the wicket....

If Wood even relevant enough anymore to trawl the Franchises? Surely no one is paying Wood any money to occupy all the medical teams time and resources?

Of course, Wood wont retire, because some prat at the ECB gave him the longest contract ever. May as well sup tea at home being paid to be injured, than sit at home and not be paid.

Well I assumed that after so many injuries England wouldn't have let him go to the IPL, but this is the ECB... and yes, he is going to be there.

So I expect he will be injured in Chennai, not Hove.
