I hate figures like those, FTS. For goodness sake, we're only 17 days into 2012, and nothing can be deduced from them, absolutely nothing; they're just a collection of numbers.

I put them up there because it featured some Aussies... for the first time in a few years. Get used to seeing Dave Warner on that list, I think!

Our defeat has been so shocking that some people have completely lost it... Agreed those people I refer to belong to BCCI but still .....

One can easily spot the commitment in Harris's plea to get selected for the 4th test:

This also highlights that CA has so many fast bowling options available. I would be a happy camper to see BCCI in a similar situation.

Found this article in a Pakistani newspaper. It is interesting to read the comments from Pakistani posters on the whole Ajmal "controversy":

Geraint Jones will play for Papau New Guinea (the country of his birth) in the World Twenty20 qualifying tournament. He contacted the PNG manager and he was shocked to hear that Geraint wanted to play for them. He will bring experience and quality to the team and it should benefit the other PNG players as well.

Nice to see an experienced cricketer giving something back to his country of birth, wonder if Geriant will be involved in the 2015 World Cup qualifying campaign?

He said that is what he aims to do and that he wants to get them into the World Cup. I suppose he was referring to the 2015 WC and not the WT20 (even though he wants them to qualify as well).

Brad Hogg was/is the coach of PNG, Andy Bichel was coach before him.
