Superb fielding effort this one. Always rate Junior as the best all-round fieldsman I have seen. Slips, backward point, covers and not a bad boundary rider either. Just that people tend to forget before Punter made his debut, Waugh also used to field at backward point in ODIs. Yes, I have watched Roger Harper as well.

He effected this run-out with a bad shoulder. Of course, it goes back to 1985-86 when he was forced to open the bowling for NSW as some players were taking part in the rebel series in SA and a few others were injured. As a result, Waugh got injured and finally had to bowl off-spin in 1995-96 because of that.

This is worth keeping an eye on... http://www.icc-cricket.com/news/2015/me ... ual-update

Pakistan are currently 9th in the ODI rankings, 1 point behind Bangladesh and WI, 7 behind England.

I believe the cut off for the Champions Trophy is September 30 so will be interesting to see what happens should Pakistan still be in 9th.

The Beeb article sounds fairly dismissive. I read of this earlier today, with the focus being on the reported $50M deals offered to Warner and Clarke.

That itself sounds dodgy - a 10 year deal, for T20 cricket, for an ageing Clarke???
Maybe

I particularly love the use of "plot" and 'rebel" in the opening paragraph. These guys might even be mixed up in something more sinister.
