that story has been getting a lot of discussion on politics forums , there was a report out the other day from the world bank or somewhere that broke down "wealth" figures globally

what it failed to address however was cost of living as well and that someone on the minimum wage in the UK could have a much poorer standard of living than someone earning less in another country , also didn't take account of the difference between income and assets. it would count someone as being in the top 1% of the world's population if they had an expensive house even if they were retired and had a basic pension

not really sure broad understood what he was saying

Broad says let them eat cake.

Broad announces tv series where he has to live on the MW in London with a couple of kids.

I suppose it's possible that Broad is reflecting more on the poverty of the majority than on the relative wealth of the UK poor. So maybe a bit of benefit of the doubt is in order.

The England cricket team does have a bit of a likability deficit, and has a image of privilege, so probably better not be too ambiguous though Stuart.

Just ask yourself, what would Moeen do?

He's made comments to this end before- we should be aware of how fortunate we are. You might post a thought like that to make yourself look balanced and sensitive. Didn't work this time though.

Ireland and Afghanistan are joining the full members in qualifying for the 2019 World Cup. 8 out of the 12 teams will automatically qualify while the bottom 4 will be joined by 6 associates in a Qualifer for the final 2 spots.

So now Ireland and Afghanistan aren't in the WCL Championship, i presume they'll have ODI series against the full members.

For a start ECB/sky needs to remove the ridiculous media restrictions so Ireland can actually get games against other nations barring Eng/Aus/Pak and probably Sri lanka.

Afghanistan will probably get games against pak/Sri lanka and they will always get asia cup every 2 years.

to make it fair ICC should make WI, Pak, Ban, Zim, Afg and Ireland play similar amount of games otherwise it will be impossible for Ireland/Afg to get an automatic spot.
