The way he handled Jasprit in this test is also a cause of concern. Jasprit literally told Rohit that it's enough, I am not having enough strength to bowl anymore over. The team selection is the root cause of this issue. India cannot afford to lose Jasprit due to workload for mistakes done by selection panel and Rohit. Rohit can retire from test format, won't make any difference to team total or captaincy but India needs Jasprit Bumrah for years to come. Hiding his failures and then dropping Shubman Gill while keeping KL, himself and Virat in team, batting in middle order and then swapping his batting position again. Playing two spinners because both offer batting and backup for failing batting lineup, and now using Jasprit like this. Totally confused in decission making.

At the age of 38, Rohit has finally become ODI number 1 ranked batsmen, I was stunned to find out he had never held that position before!!!
