I think it was overall.

A number of highs and lows. A number of international casualties. A couple of genuine heroes, a cult hero, a pantomime villain and a fringe player who got a break, took his chance and nailed his place for the next 12 months.

some surprises...... who saw Starc playing such a peripheral role in the series? or Wee Davey averaging 9? not me that's for sure

and some less surprising... who saw Roy having such a nightmare? or who expected a 5 match series to only featured one opening 50 run partnership? well.... most people after Edgbaston had finished.... probably
