Your pick for number 3 for the test team of the decade.

Probably go for Kumar sangakkara

Went for Williamson, but a tough choice.

Only played for about 5 years, but averaged 61 with 17 tons

Usman Khawaja's inclusion in this short list is surprising

Geez, this one's hard, although I think we can rule out Ballance or Khawaja...

Also somewhat subjective in 'team of the decade', as some of the players were at the tail end of the careers (Dravid and Ponting, for example), so only really played up to 2011 or so.

Trott had an amazing but short career - for 3 years he was probably the best number 3 in the world, but then it all went horribly wrong.

Do you put Smith in, or recognise that he's been a 4 for most of the time?

Hmmm.

Going to go Sanga. Smith will get in lower down. Hard to leave out Williamson.

I went Ponting without thinking that this was never going to be his decade. Can't change it sadly, but I would have changed it to Sanga

Sanga. Qaulity keeper as well. So allows for a better team balance.

Sanga last kept in a Test in 2008 though.

I'm surprised Punter was nominated. This start of this decade was the beginning of the end for a once great bat.

In that case i will have Steven Smith instead of Sanga. Also strengthens the slip cordon.
