Who Will Win the Cricket World Cup?

There seems to be a bit of a mischievous spirit on the internet that keeps piping away that England will win the cricket world cup. I'm taking that to be posters humorously trying to snag the odd English patriot into an outburst of futile hope- much like a tabloid editorial on the cusp of the football world cup. But, back in the real world... on planet... earth, on... Saturday... who is really going to do it. You have one vote. Don't waste it on trying to provoke England fans. Or other England fans. Though the vote is open until it starts so, you could change it later.

Though, England are top seeds. And it only takes three games....

Hard to look past Australia. I'm looking at New Zealand as having potential to tear up the script.

Aus have an explosive batting lineup.

Finch, Warner, Watson, Smith, Maxwell, Bailey, Faulkner…. too much firepower.
Bowlings half decent too.

India have a similar batting lineup but their bowling is too poor.

NZ have an outside chance.

SA… not very sure. They do have Amla and ABDV but others are not consistent enough. Steyn can't tear apart batting orders especially if the wickets are flat.

If we get a lot of very good batting pitches and high scores, India could win, but I see them and South Africa (whose batting is too reliant on Amla and ABDV) as being back in the hopeful category. I'm ruling out WI, Pakistan and England as too fantastical to consider, and see Sri Lanka as floating in a void, like potential winners in a different multiverse.
