Now that Twenty20 cricket is entering it's 12th year in the County circuit, the tournament format has been tweaked somewhat since it's inaugural year and is deemed to be an overall success.

So my question to CMS users, what is your favourite format?

I selected not fussed, but that isn't strictly true, in that I hated the 16,000 match format from a year or two ago, and the differing methods for ensuring that each team plays some teams twice and some once.... which is clearly ridiculous... and which we seem to be doing again!

The format I'd like to see, is the one that penalised teams for not being in their final over after an hour and a quarter, where players ran on and off the pitch, where they warmed up with exercise bikes near the boundary ropes, and where Simon Guy could hide amongst the dancing girls in an attempt to trick his opponents into thinking there was no-one there on that part of the boundary, before stepping back into the field of play just as the bowler gets into his delivery stride.

Those were the days!

Last year seemed to work well and give the right winner.

I like 3 groups of 6 but maybe they should mix it up a bit and have a proper draw instead of regionalising it and playing the same teams each year.

End product was definitely right last year. That's what matters.
