1st test against sri lanka this summer, who gets the gloves for you?

For me it's Buttler

Of those two: Prior. Buttler needs to play more first class cricket imo.

I picked Prior. But, he's injured at the moment with an achilles, so may be a doubt. Bairstow's injured. Maybe Buttler has a chance. I think he should keep in fc cricket for a season before he is considered as England's keeper... Good time for a keeper to make an impression. Kieswetter is back in favour?

Always been a Prior fan because of his batting.

An in-form Prior is an easy winner. Buttler needs to keep more often in the four-day game, and score more too.

Yes I said above there's an opportunity for a keeper to leap a few candidates here. With Prior and Bairstow not certainly fit, and Buttler a long shot, the field is quite open.

Prior though has history on his side.

if prior plays, then would you have Prior 6, Stokes 7... or Stokes 6, Prior 7?

an intresting point was raised on commentary today...They mentioned Kieswetter possibly in longer forms of the game for England..now i've never really thought of Kieswetter in the test side, but is he an outside bet?

Wouldn't rule him out.

I reckon Prior, Bairstow, Buttler and Kieswetter will be considered.
