Anderson's record is pretty average in the Ashes, especially if you separate his one good series. Harris hasn't got that many wickets, and his average is only about the same as others who have more. Like a few players, I thought he was very arguably one of the best 15 options, but unlikely to make the team.
I always say that everybody's right.

Looks like we have a tie between Fred and Bob. Their records are similar in Ashes cricket, in terms of average and SR. Bob has the legend of Headingley 81 in his favour, but in regard to the vote, I'll pick Fred because he got a lot of votes in the previous fast bowler ballot.

Hobbs
Sutcliffe
Bradman
Border*
Waugh
Botham
Gilchrist
Warne
Lillee
Trueman
McGrath.

Based on the vote, the touring party includes:
Hutton
Barrington
Miller
Knott
Willis
Laker.

If the XI is 7-4 to the Aussies, the back up is mostly English.

Thanks for your contributions.
I always say that everybody's right.
