Feels like the bowlers have picked their game up over the past two years. Once they were carried by the batters, in limited overs, but now appear a more competent outfit.

It was the bowling and fielding that won the 2010 T20 WC, keeping the opposition down to below par scores that Lumb, Bedwetter and KP were able to knock off with ease. England have gone full circle back to those days. Morgan didn't even have to bowl Mo against Australia. He seems to have an attack that dovetails nicely

Do you think India will still qualify?

Kohli seems to think these are just a couple of early set backs. Feels pretty terminal to me

Yorkshire's response to the Rafiq racism report is beyond a joke. Apparently Rafiq couldn't have been offended because it was all just 'friendly banter'. None of the Yorkshire players are going to face any discipline or sanctions.

All this says to me is an institutionally racist organisation trying to close ranks to protect itself rather than admit the clearly evident problems.

I'm frankly disgusted.

It sounds like racism at Yorks is a normal part of everyday life. It may be like that esewhere, this investigation only happened because one player went public.

I suppose India could still make it but chances are that's not working out for the bookies. At least they didn't write Pakistan off as too 'mercurial'.

Feels like England will struggle if they lose the toss in the late game. As will anyone, but in terms of being favourites it's hard to be confident.

I'm never confident when it comes to sudden death matches anyway. I always see England winning every group game only to fall over their own feet in the SF even though I try hard not to

At least there's no Ireland or Netherlands this time to knock England out at the group stage.

True. Mind you ; if Scotland were to win their last three matches they might finish second and face up in the semi :)

Is Jos Buttler England's best ever limited overs bat?

Who else competes with him for that title?

Is it even possible to compare the ODI careers of the likes of Allan Lamb and Nick Knight with those of KP and Jos Buttler, given how different the game has become in the 2000s?
