My old club got relegated to the Sussex 2nd League recently, and have lost the first game of the season.....

Might dust off my whites and offer my services for a weekend or two.

Well this is going to be fun....me my vice captain my wicket keeper and my overseas all ruled out today

The wicket keeper tweaked a hamstring says should be fit for next week, my vice will be back next week to he had a family emergency but yeah not good at all

As said previously, myself, my vice and wicket keeper were all missing this week and it was noticeable..

We went down by 59 runs 2 defeats from 2 this is how we lined up..makeshift given all the changes

Eastwood went up to the top of the order to fill the void, Stevenson took the gloves, the 2nd team keeper isnt quite ready to step up just yet, Du Preez went up the order..Lewis and Robinson came in to fill a gap in the middle, with spinner willows into the side too..Kilbridge stepped into lead the side

We lost the toss and the oppo chose to bat, We got off to an electric start reducing the oppo to 18-4 The two brothers ripped through the top order, before a recovery got them to 86-5, as they milked the spinner willows, and seamer harwood unusually expensive....Ingelwood chipped in with a couple of wickets to finish with 2-45, The middle/lower order rallied and got the oppo up to 242 all out, stars of the show were the Rawlings brothers...Henry finished with 5-52 off 9.5 overs and his brother Francis picked up 3-20 from his 10 overs..

In reply It was a shocking start falling to 12-3 The top 3 all back in the shed, Regular wickets kept falling, Inglewood fell for 19, just as he got going, Lewis hit 48 from 38 balls however we soon fell to 95-6, a partnership between H.Rawlings and Kilbridge helped to rebuild Rawlings 31 from 86 balls and Kilbridge 46 from 85 balls however they soon fell to 183 all out, dissapointing start to the season!
