Not long to wait now...

On recent form you'd think this is between India , NZ , and SA. Though in short form cricket surprises can happen in individual games it is hard to see those three not being semi-finalists (unless Pakistan have a couple of their magical "good" days)

Who else for a semi spot though ? Given the rotten lead up form of England and Australia - who appear to have ended up with a "B" team due to all the injury absences - I imagine Afghanistan must be quietly fancying their chances . Tournament play is a different beast from random ODIs though so I am not placing bets one way or the other.

Bit of a suprise abrar into the attack in the 7th over.....would have turned to rauf before him to try and see if there's anything half way down the wicket....nothing when you pitch it up

Got a nasty hit on the head last week vs South Africa, and I think he has concussion. Was fielding in the deep when he lost sight of the ball in the crowd, and got hit flush on the head by it. Lots of blood, and it totally wiped him out.

Apparently he was back in the nets, but giving him a few games to recover.

Think he may struggle to get back in the side for next match now? Young his replacement is 83 not out

Kiwis a bit on the slow side? Not obviously going to get 300.

215-4 with 8 overs left...Phillips at the crease...think they will get to 300 but pitch isn't as good as it looked at the start it's a touch on the slow side..so 280 upwards is a good score I think..abrar has been very impressive for Pakistan

16 off each of the last two overs so they are in overdrive now. Five overs left so if these two stay in I think 300 is assured. Wicket might change things...

Latham gets to his hundred as well 270-4 midway through the 47th

Slow over rate means fielding restrictions for the last two...but probably doesn't matter much as Phillips just dealing in sixes now :)

Knock on the helmet for Latham . But with 15 balls left this 291 could even turn into 320 or more. Should be enough.

50 for Phillips! Needs 15 more for a 1000 runs in Odis

113 off the last 10 overs! Very good score that if Babar falls early it could be game over quickly....fakhar not allowed to open as he was off the field most of the innings
