Day 1 today on a pitch already spinning a lot...SL are 233-5 with Kamindu Mendis 90* this guy is ridiclously good...moved up to number 5 for this series he is honestly going to be a great his technique is incredibly good, in defence and attack plays all the shots and has a fantastic temprament...SL have unearthed a once in a generation talent here

4th century in only 7 tests.... very much looks like a player SL can build a future around, if he keeps playing like this.

SL favourites with NZ needing 70+ with 3 wickets in hand. But Ravindra is well set, so a close finish is still possible.

Real shame it finished so early on day 5, i thought NZ were in with a great shout there...ravindra is some talent though! Jayasuria is such a home only conditions type of bowler...looked completely ineffective in england and runs through sides in SL
