Then the semi finals is winner v runner up in both groups

Indeed. The new 20 team format is basically designed to make sure the top 8 sides are guaranteed to make the 2nd round.

I hadn't realised this is on Amazon Prime in Australia, which I actually do subscribe to (mainly for the free delivery), so in theory I can watch the whole thing.

In practice the match timing is middle of the day in Oz, so most of the games will be during work hours :(

Quite the innings from Aaron Jones - 94* off 40 with 10 sixes. To be fair, the Canadian bowlers did serve up some absolute dross at times, but it was an impressive display of hitting nonetheless. Second-most sixes in a T20 innings, I'll give you one guess who holds the record for the most.

Not sure where you read that stat, but its clearly wrong.

I watched the Essex v Sussex game where Graham Napier hit 15 plus, and pretty sure it was right at the end of his innings where it was announced he had broken McCullums record. Chris Gayle must have done it multiple times, as would I guess ABDV.

Finn Allan from NZ also beat the record a couple of months ago, and it was Finch who had the record, so there are numerous people who have gone 15 plus, I would imagine the list of 10 plus is quite long.

As an interesting side note, Napier later beat the record for most 6s in the County Championship, when he pummeled Surrey a few years later for a similar amount of sixes.

Left with the tailenders, his last 100 runs out of 200 he scored came off something ridiculous like 20 balls.....

Looking further, it appears it is second most sixes in a T20 World cup innings. Gayle had 11 once.
