I don't know that much about him, tbh. In the ashes last year I was asking why nobody was questioning his position in the ongoing Bairstow/Foakes debate. Prior to the ashes it was always Crawley who was in the firing line for that debate. Pope is the vice captain, his numbers are steady if not spectacular and no-one anywhere seems to be questioning his place in the team, so I guess he's seen as being as much a part of the furniture as Root.

Thanks.

Apart from the world class knock he played, he seems to be an outstanding fielder at FSL. Very few are as confident as he is while fielding at FSL.

Ollie out as well. 3 for Ashwin

England need to get past 204 more runs for India to bat again.

Lasted only 4 more balls after biwling change of Kuldeep.

92/ 4 in 18.2 overs.

England might get bowled out again in less than 60 overs.

Ben out. He has hardly scored any runs this series. 4 for Ash. England 103/5.

If wickets fall like this then England may not even survive ODI quota overs.

Ashwin takes the lead as top wicket taker in the series. Unlikely that Hartley will get another bowling innings.

If there was a team of the series, all the attack would be from the home side.

India 477 all out

Rohit 103
Gill 110
Jaiswal 57
Padikkal 65
Sarfaraz 56

Bashir 5-173

It's like India were batting on a totally different pitch.

Bowling change works for India. Jasprit takes 2 wickets in 4 balls by dismissing Tom and Mark. :clap

England are 141/8.

innings defeat on the cards. England 9 down and still 60 odd behind

A defiant stand from honest Joe, but in truth this match was over before it even started really.... as is often the case with dead rubbers, especially when they've had to hang around for 10 days with the series already lost
