Feels like Fokes has batted most of the series not with the last batter, but with 9, 10, 11.

not only that - boom, boom, boom! Goes all their reviews.

That was poor by them as well. I think all of them were a little on the desperate side of hopeful.

Going to be interested to see Mark Wood's pace. Last summer in England he got into the 98-99pmh zone on the speedo.... with this ground over 1500m, one would expect those same balls could go over 100mph if he is really in the mood to crank it, because the air resistance will be a lot lower. My memory seems to remember a glut of "fastest ever balls" in the 2003 SA world cup, which is the only other place that has venues at altitudes like this (Bloemfontein, Pretoria, Jo'Burg).... so it makes a difference.

One potential problem for England though is the altitude will negatively effect the bowlers longevity.... going in with Mark "one spell, needs a week off" Wood and soon to be 42 year old Jimmy Anderson might not have been a sensible choice if India can bat long.

They will naturally tire a lot quicker at these altitudes, so I dont expect long spells.

Good bowling by Indian bowling unit. Dismissed England im in slightly more than ODI quota overs yet again in this series.

Whereas, of the 3 Indian batsmen to get put have scored two tons and 1 fifty. The batsmen were able to get set and play siginifcant knocks. Chance for debutants of the series (Devdutt,Sarfaraz and Dhruv) to contribute a good total from the middle order. With lead of already 97, India should be looking to expand the lead to atleast 250 runs. Wojld have expected more but 5 out the 6 batsmen have played just 41 tests. And if Shubman is left out of 5 then 4 have just 16 tests between them. Such is the inexper8nce of this batting lineup. But still the experienced lineup has a favorable wicket to bat on and should be aiming a massive lead.

This isn't going well. Indian batters working on their averages. Nice to see Stokes able to bowl though.
