I think he's recovered his career quite well after fading out of favour after the last WC.

Livingstone dropped down to 7 last game, and ended not out, which is the type of inefficiency that will cost England in the future. I dont really understand why they put Moeen Ali above him... averages 12 less in OD cricket, and has lower strike rates across the formats... the move made no sense whatsoever.

There is no point bottom loading the order.

Maybe LL is seen as being at the end of the queue for places, rather than cast in the Vaughan era role of being a hitter kept back for the end. Buttler, Mo and Stokes are ahead of him and well established. Maybe him and Mo could be swapped.

173 added in 26 overs by Malan and Stokes.

A chance for Malan to open in WC?

Disappointing for Malan to fall just short of a run a ball ton. But it gets Buttler to the middle.
