Kiwis fighting back brilliantly under scoreboard pressure. Maybe given themselves a sniff.

These wickets in Pakistan are dreadful...yes England forced results but in the main part these pitches do nothing to help test cricket

Six hour ton from KW may be what NZ needed, but makes a result less likely.

NZ not exactly racing along this morning ; but with KW and Sodhi still together , and sixty odd in front as the third new ball comes out , they may fancy a big lead and a chance to pressure Pakistan on the last day.
Not sure they have the bowling attack to do it on this pitch ...but we know this Pakistan side are quite good at imploding...

Sodhi scoring 60+ suggests a dull draw is coming.

Couple of late wickets leaves Pakistan two down still 97 behind...plenty of turn for the spinners so NZ will be hopeful. You'd think Pakistan need to bat two sessions at least so the game isn't dead yet...

If NZ do run out of time, comparisons between their approach and England's in terms of attacking intent will be inevitable.

Pakistan batsmen might still be in an obliging frame of mind.

If there's a dozy run out in the morning, we'll know

Pakistan have a small lead, but have lost 5 wickets getting there. I'm guessing the match is only just into the afternoon session, so they have work to do

Useful stand for Pakistan. New ball time though.
