Shame for Namibia, but they only have themselves to blame.

It's been a good first round though. Let's hope the rain doesn't have the final say today.

Can't complain about those qualifiers - plenty of "upsets" , and games that swung one way then the other...been fun to watch.

The right teams got through in the first group , I think. Namibia may feel they blew it ; but the Dutch would have been a little unfortunate to be dumped on NRR after winning their first two games ; and Sri Lanka did enough to recover from that very poor first match. Not sure either of them will have their rivals in the main groups sleeping poorly at the prospect of playing them.

Shootouts today if the weather allows. Crossing fingers as there is a lot of rain around down this way. Looking at the latest Hobart forecast I wonder if game one might be OK but the later one less so. Would be a pity to have places decided by a wash out - or a five over farce.

true, Alfie.

It has been far better than my expectations.

Ireland look like restricting the Windies to a manageable total.

Sub par total for WI. Very gettable, and Ireland are off to a good start.

Nothing is ever certain in T20, but you'd probably rather be Ireland at this moment.

Certainly rather be Ireland at the moment ! Rocket start ; and still only one down so they can keep pushing . RRR less than run a ball...
