Disappointing from the middle order. It could be argued they were under too much pressure, but in more recent times they've responded well to pressure.

Sounds like an unpleasant day! I watched some of it on TV this afternoon and the crowd were virtually silent- can't have been any fun in the heat....at the end the commentators gave a shout out to the medics at the ground!

An England men's team has been out playing cricket for 30 of the last 49 days. I guess that's why Stokesy feels all format cricket is just too much. Some of these matches will be post covid catch up, but in the same time frame Durham have played cricket on 19 days and 11 of those were T20's

I put the silence down to the oppressive weather until I read their was an alcohol ban on both ground entry and sales in the ground. I'm one of the BoFs who prefers watching games without the inane accompanying football chants. Wonder what effect the alcohol ban had on overall receipts?

Looks gettable for SA, given the new possibilities of limited overs cricket. Unless it rains.

Not great from the top order again though. This time the lower middle order bailed them out.
