No question a safer approach , if it led to a serious lead , would be a clearer path to victory. But in "Nighthawk" Broad's after play interview , he almost seemed to be saying "well , we like to chase - and it's more fun for the spectators this way !"

If play looks dangerous, that's one thing, but I'm not getting the impression that this is the case here.

Commentators always get huffy in this situation as they lose a day off.

My view has always been that someone prefering not to play on another scheduled day is no reason to rip up the regulations.
