That wicket ball swings very late. Was very full, but the latest of the swing leaves Stokes driving down the wrong line..... not much you can do to adjust to that.

Seales has mixed some very ordinary stuff with some really devilish balls. If he can learn consistency, he has the raw firepower to take wickets... great prospect.

36 is sort of a decent effort for an England bat these days. Same with WI though. Represents a second problem. Struggle to get in, struggle to extend starts.

Foakes and JB1 might be feeling a bit competitive.

Windies drop Mayers, who averages way above most of the team and also averages 25 with the ball.... that makes no sense to me.

I would have picked Mayers over Brooks.

Well done YJB, but 250/6 doesn't sound like a great effort from England given the comments here.

I guess you don't know until both sides have batted, but an attack led by Woakes and Overton isn't likely to strike fear into any hearts.

It's taken some luck, and some the ball going soft, but Bairstow and Stokes did show some backbone (think atone stage they had about 5 runs for 70-80 balls by memory) ...and bairstow has made the most of his good fortune as the innings went along.

The pitch is really hard to call. The ball stopped moving in the afternoon, but moved enough to wipe out our top order. Bit sluggish, no pace and a bit low most of the time.

It could flatten and slow into a belter, but I have a feeling it might fall apart. Advantage England it feels
