Suppose WI have more batting this time, with Mayers in the side.

Hope Campbell is ok here. Another one keeps a bit low, Campbell ducks into it and takes a massive thump on the helmet.

Gladly he seems ok and he's up, going to have a concussion protocol here and a new lid. Good to also seem Overton straight over to him to check on him.

Looked nasty

And again. Overton cracks another one into the helmet. Campbell looks ok again, but we have another helmet and another concussion assessment coming. This doesn't bode well for him, two consecutive bouncers he's wore.... guessing a lot of short stuff is coming

What is going on.... Overton hits Brooks this time, but in the chest... Brookes was in full evasive mode, swaying and ducking, but the ball hits into his abdomen.

Suddenly everything is just not bouncing at all the way you expect. Brooks thought that was flying past his ear, but instead its nowhere near.

Carbon copy of the first that, ball keeps low and wraps Brooks on the pad in front.

Campbell gone... predictably to a bouncer.

Presumably the wicket's going to get easier to bat on, as for Leach yesterday.

Not sure. It's now keeping low rather than lateral movement. But only with the old ball.

England's series to lose atm...only going to get worse

Back to front batting from windies as well.

The new ball does little. After 25-45 overs it does everything. Then it looks pancake flat...

This pitch is the most bizarre I've seen in a long time

You still think it's deteriorating with the variable bounce?

Now it looks flat. Like I said above, new ball does something (sealed got it swinging a lot, but only one)...then 15-20 overs in windies got the ball to seam like spin, England got the ball to keep low....and then 45 odd overs in flat as a pancake.

Never seen a pitch like it.

Cheers.

A few overs with the new ball before the COP. Handy timing for England.

Strange game indeed. West Indies heading for a first innings lead that could prove decisive.

In the days of uncovered pitches, the captains would sometimes reverse the order...
