Swepson hasn't taken a wicket in the last three bowling innings. Bowled a lot of overs too.

Rushing to its conclusion now. Was always going to go this way once they got through the first five - we saw that in the first innings. There was never a realistic chance of Pakistan making 351 on this pitch , but I gave them some chance of holding out for a draw after getting through last night's 27 overs...Lyon , Cummins and Starc have just been too good for them. Who needs Swepson ?

Think we can call it now with just two wickets left and 28 overs to go - it doesn't look like rain :)

Good to see a rather aggressive declaration reap its reward ; hats off to Cummins :salute

All over. Well done you Aussies. Fine work from Lyon who I seem to remember got written off a bit during the Ashes.

A good, hard fought, series win to Aus.

Many have complained about boring cricket, and it sure has had some flat decks, but it has been competitive and combative throughout. I have enjoyed watching what I have seen.

Cummins copped lot of criticism for a delayed declaration in the second test - a bit harshly so, imo - and may have declared a bit earlier in this test as a result(?). I was surprised when it came - I thought they would give it another half hour and have a slog, trying for a 400 run lead.

But no. Well done him. Well done Aus.

This tour has done great things for the Pakistan/Australia cricket relationship. It has been played throughout in an amazingly friendly atmosphere. The friendliest test series I remember seeing. It seems that this will be a legacy of Cummins' captaincy - the Ashes were also played in a similar manner.

An important series win for Aus, and for Cummins in particular. Due to the Langer departure, he has a lot of haters in Aus, and they are just waiting for him to stumble to lay into him again.

How can anyone hate Cummins. He seems like the perfect role model to me.

And in terms of bowling, He is up there with Australias best over the last 40 years. Top 3 in my view.

Great result for Aus and Lyons position seems more secure than ever. Not sure where Swepson goes from her.

Some One Day games start about now. I think three of them, and then just one T20.
Bad time for me. It is 9pm that they start.

Aus have been hit hard by injury and Covid. With some big outs - including Maxwell and now Mitch3. Smith as well.

They have Travis Head opening. This doesn't fill me with confidence - but he has been given out LBW, while I type, had that overturned on review and smote a four the next ball.

It looks like the bowling lineup is Abbott, Ellis, Zampa, Swepson, with Stoinis and Green. It will be very interesting to see how they go - but hopefully I will be asleep.

that's right, there was a kerfuffle in the media just before they came over here for the tests - that so many of them were going to cop out.

The Cummins haters were lining up to hate.

Of course, he follows this up with a 32 ball half century.

I feel that I have done my job well.

and Head goes onto get his centiry (as foretold by myself) in 70 balls.

then promptly gets out.

Good start for Aus, Head did well.

I didn't even know it was on, until the next morning. Yes, with an over to spare as well.

I'd say that Pakistan (the country) went off last night.
