Rare tight finish coming up...need 15 off 9 balls. Another six would nearly settle it but they can't afford too many dots...

Two rather flawed teams but they're giving us some excitement at least. Russell going to have some pressure on him in a minute bowling the last over ...but he will have a new batsman to bowl at !

13 needed...

Props to the Windies, they find a way to win from an utterly terrible position early on.

Holder was everywhere. Quick slog innings of high value, great misery bowling and a couple of catches

West Indies did their best to lose it with some fielding that would have shamed my club team..(.Even Holder managed an awful fumble which might have proven costly : but I'll forgive him because of his crucial catch. And his all round game , as Sussex noted. ) If Bangladesh had got those runs Russell would have been entitled to sue his outfielders and keeper :)

Technically still alive with two games left. But realistically they're looking for miracles considering their appalling run rate , which this tight win did nothing to address.

Bangladesh will be very disappointed with their display in this tournament. They appeared to have some potential coming in but it just hasn't manifested itself at any stage,

Spirited effort from Afghanistan : I really didn't think they could trouble the big boys like that but they will have India on their toes when they meet after that display.
Bit "all or nothing" with the bat : the late order stand was the most sensible batting of their innings - knock it around and finish with a flourish ; and turned what was looking like a disaster into a serviceable total. I still felt Pakistan had the chase well in hand throughout - until that ill timed loss of wickets near the end threatened to undo them.

Then again , perhaps it was actually perfectly timed : enter Asif and the rest is history...

Pakistan now certain to top the group and a three way shootout for second spot. Anything can happen in t20 but I'll be seriously surprised if India don't take it ; though we might see a couple of tense games yet.

Two exciting matches in one night . Wonder if we can expect the same tonight ?

Fatal blow for SL.

Australia's top order has been blown away. Tough to recover from here. Woakes doing great again. Seemed he was out of the T20 picture recently, and was slipping from the ODI team too.

Feels like the Aussie innings is going backwards.

I think it would have been better for Aussie tv if this had been the early game.
