Yes. I do think Russell got it wrong there at the end. After the heroics of the penultimate over , WI only needed 11 from Starc's final one...Turning down singles from the first four balls because he apparently didn't trust his partner rather put all the eggs in one basket - and Starc bowled too well to concede late sixes.

Surely would have been better to take a single immediately : all Walsh needed to do then was get bat on ball and get Russell back on strike and he'd have been left with 4 balls to maybe hit two fours to tie , maybe a single to finish ? Still not easy , of course against Starc : but easier than trying to hit a couple out of the ground...

Australia will be relieved to at least get a result at last. Innings petered out somewhat ; but that rocket start paid off in the end. Marsh is having a good series :thumb
