I think he had to stay in NZ for some reason. Something to do with post IPL quarantines.

Might not have got in anyway.

he was still in their squad when I picked my FL team the other day, so it must have been last minute, presumably

Conway is going to get his name on the board on debut, by the looks of it. SR suggests not a shrinking violet

Trent Boult will return to New Zealand after the aborted IPL instead of heading straight to England with the other Test players and could miss the two-match series although will still be available for the World Test Championship final against India.
Boult, along with New Zealand trainer Chris Donaldson, who has been with the Kolkata Knight Riders, will spend about a week with their families after undergoing the mandatory two weeks in managed isolation on their return before joining the Test squad in England.
An NZC statement said that Boult would be back with the squad "possibly in time to be picked for the second Test against England but certainly in time for the ICC WTC final."

ah! that would make sense. They'll want him to get a run out ahead of India, surely

Hundred for Devon on debut. And a partnership of 84 with Harvey Nicholls. All going NZs way now. New ball nearly an hour away.

How are Englands slow over penalties going.

Root close to a ban yet?

Root must be exempt from the slow over rule.

Just been out for a bit and NZ barely scored a run. Hundred partnership up though.

Those tweets made by Robinson were racist and sexist. He's right to apologise for them.

The fact this wasn't pointed out to him years ago shows how institutionalised this racism and sexism is.

Classic Robbo wicket. Was saying the other week on the county thread he gets so many batsman chopping down their own stumps, and he's done it again.

Robinson off the mark.

KW chopping on too, off Anderson.
