I didn't realise that this was Krunal's debut. He feels like a player who has been around a while

Been around in the T20 team for a while. I confess Id imagined he'd played 50 overs for India too, but yes, this is his first game. Wont be his last either at this rate, been a wonderful knock..

50 from 26 balls. Really brought India back into the game from a position they could have been all out for under 230-240

Never really undeerstood England's death bowling tactics. The paceman loves to dig the ball at pace in during the death overs. Curran showing Wood how to bowl so far this over, get the ball very full and into the body

Hard to know what is par on this deck. England's new ball attack got swing with the new ball, but as the new ball wore off its looked a very good surface for batting. If England keep wickets in tact and get a good start, I think they can chase 300 plus. But the quality of Indian bowlers might make that hard, so England should be prepared to do what India did and see out 20 overs as a platform

Pretty shambolic last ten from England. Last partnership adds nearly 120 runs in just over 9 overs.

The insistence on opening with butter in t20s for me may cost us the t20 world Cup

Bairstow is one of the best white ball openers in world cricket and isn't anywhere near as comfortable in the middle order

Butter is the most destructive player in the world in the last 5-10 overs in any format and is our best finisher yet we are opening with him

Makes absolutely no sense to me

Especially with the way Roy and Bairstow seem to play so well together which they are showing yet again today

Buttler averages 45 in 20 T20Is as opener, at a SR above 150

Without checking I would guess that makes him arguably the best T20I opener in history, both for SR and average
