I wonder if Sipamla was tempted to bowl a wide, with Malan on 98 and only 1 run needed

Arguably the pace bowlers a touch expensive.

chasing 192 and leaving more than 2 overs unused.

This England team can certainly chase. Did they win the toss and if they did would setting a target have been useful practice in a dead rubber?

Four out of England's six highest successful chases in T20Is have come against South Africa - three of them this year

Thought this was today. :facepalm . Timezones.

Apart from Roy's shaky form, England are looking like solid contenders for the T20 next year. You'd have to fancy India in India, and spin is England's weak link, (Rashid is good, but there's little depth). But it's pretty promising at this stage.

Faf has been 'rested'. Because 3 T20s and no other cricket since March really take it out of you.

Some controversy over England signaling from the dressing room. I thought that was clearly not allowed.

Apparently it was 'information' not 'orders', and it had been pre-vetted by the match referee and the ICC.

Still looks dodgy af.

Now cancelled.

Hotel staff tested positive.

You would think for the sake of a small tour that hotel staff stay in the premises and pay them extra for the efforts of doing so.

I believe they were all staying on the premises AP

Not terribly reassuring when the fella in charge of the bubble says that he's fairly certain things were 99% covid secure :?
