Moeen Ali may have been fit in short formats teams of England few years back. However, a lot has changed. The way England team have started playing T20i and ODI is unbelievable from what we have seen over decades. Now suddenly they have two cup wins. So, England given the reputation in these formats cannot afford non performers. As soon as any player flops or goes through bad patch, England players criticism will be more. It is inevitable given the expectations from Team England. Maybe the spin all rounders are not performing well in domestic? With Jonny and Jos giving balance as multi skilled players and Ben Stokes, David Willey as well being multi skilled, England can well play a specialist spinner. What exactly is the need of so many all rounders. Aren't 3 or 4 enough in playing 11. Specialists are also important.

Don't even play a specialist spinner in Tests.

Pakistan on for a good total, but after the last game, they'll feel very vulnerable.

A lot of runs to chase twice in a week.

Morgan goes. Feels like a lot of runs for England to get without him.

Spotlight on Mo.

If Moeen wins it from here, then that will be the end of Sarfraz's career.

Did well to get as close as they did after the early collapse. In a perverse way , probably a good thing as it gave Mo his chance to play a career reviving innings : if the top four had done their usual job he'd probably have come in with two overs to go...
Result doesn't really matter in random series like this. But apart from Mo , Banton has advanced his cause ; Gregory probably drops off the radar. And Jordan has still got it - for this format anyway. Should have provided some useful pointers for Morgan looking towards the cup :thumb
