Ah...cricket again :clap

Decent first over from Roach. Burns very nearly came to regret that leave !

Slightly surprised Broad left out. But I guess they will be indulging in some rotation...and probably sensible to use Archer and Wood before one or both break down :)

So much talk about the new normal, but an England top order incapable of lasting five minutes without doing something terrible...... feels very 2019

"West Indies will keep their three reviews"

So, we have three reviews now, instead of two?

Sibley loses 12 kg and his stumps.

Must be a while since Yorkshire didn't have a player in the Test side.

Yes, and Broad was fit last year from memory. I thought he'd play and Archer would miss out.

Maybe I'm not on message here but that doesn't look a strong England side even it it did win in SA. WI got a chance?

That wicket's going to get a lot of analysis on the hour long BBC highlights. Sibley will be hoping they get back on. Never looks good getting bowled playing no shot.

Feels like home advantage for WI with the stands empty?

15.30 restart.

I read that it's because there are no neutral umpires!

You really can't rule them out , can you ? They have some handy bowlers , although I know their own batting is distinctly dodgy. However , without Root , I'm not sure England is overflowing with proven Test class.

The new boys generally did OK in SA , and the impression is there that patient old fashioned Test batting is back in the game plan. But I'd want to see all that top four at least put a few more consistent performances out before I get all carried away...and to be fair they are entitled to some time to do so. Pope looks a good 'un. But Buttler has been very shaky lately ...and indeed apart from Stokes there are very few centuries in that team ...

Suspect this will be a low scoring match so it might well be decided by one or two individual efforts .

Back on at least :thumb
