It's lovely in CLS atm. Sun is shining. Pity it isn't doing something similar over at OT

they should get enough play in at OT tomorrow, surely? The forecast is pretty dry for much of the day. It might need a late start and light might affect things later, but the big lad's on fire.... he'll do the business. I sense a lack of belief in the WIndies team. If they don't think they can bat it out, they won't

37 minutes in and we've lost about fifteen already...

Might be a bit on-and-off. Doesn't look like one of those really wet days. But you never know...

Batsmen surviving so far ; though a few played and missed.

Well done to him. Always felt he was a bit underrated. Apart from the ability that brings so many wickets, there's the longevity, the fitness and the willpower. It's a lot of effort. As Fred Trueman said, if anyone went past his Test record 307 wickets, they'll be bloody tired.

I accept Fred also played 600+ fc games!

Scorecard says WI need 315 runs, but more meaningfully they need four hours of rain.

Last couple of Tests have been so painful for them that any resistance at all now would be quite impressive.

Good series for Woakesy.

All wrapped up pretty comfortably... Great bowling from Broad and Woakes :salute

West Indies batting poor today. Fair credit to them for coming over , putting up with awkward conditions , and competing well for a while ...but they were clearly gone in this game , and appeared only to be hoping for rain to save them for much of this match. Asking a bit too much.
