Sharma likely to be replaced by Umesh. Wagner likely to be back for NZ.

Delayed start due to rain, damp conditions on a green pitch away from home and India lose the toss and get put in to bat first ... feels like we've been here before :hide

Wicket for Boult.

Don't like that five man pace attack.

Based on conditions and the wicket I think NZ were pretty confident they wouldn't need a spinner!

OK start for India though.

Shaw goes failing to push on from a rapid fifty.

And NZ-Tim swings things NZ's way. Good games when the ball is on top.

Chances are you'll need a sole spinner more than a fifth seamer.

But if they had picked four, Jamieson wouldn't have played, and he took a 5-fer.

Again the home team winning the toss playing its part.

It is already hard enough for touring teams.

Blundell and Williamson out. This could get interesting.

Kohli takes a great catch and NZ are five down before lunch.

NZ right back on top after two days.

Gutsy late batting from Jamieson (an excellent find for NZ !) hauled them to just seven runs down on first innings...and the five man pace battery has reduced India to 90/6 at the close. Don't think they'll need that spinner :)

Might still need cool batting though if the Indian tail can wag a bit...the odd ball keeping a bit low . Still India need a big effort from Vihari , Pant and Jadeja. Won't be easy : Boult is really on fire ...

Considering how NZ have chocked a lot recently, chasing 100 might be to much for them.

NZ chase 150ish and it could be a thriller.
