he certainly seems to have turned his batting around after becoming a walking wicket for a while. Did SA target him with the short ball barrage which in recent times has so badly affected his confidence? If so it didn't work this time around.

I don't think Broad has turned his batting around has he? Just that SA are broken. Chris Martin would have made a handy 30 today.

6 innings, of course, for JB2.... and the answer is no. JB2 has scored 107 runs and Woody 77

Broad has two double figure score (12&11) in his last 15 innings. Until today. This is is best score since a fifty in the 2017 Ashes.
